The house overlooks the
indigenous
bushveld offering guests the ideal opportunity to spot animals and
birds from the large elevated wooden deck area. There are superb views
to the west, of the Drakensberg Mountains, with spectacular sunrises
and sunsets. The deck also incorporates a large cooling plunge pool,
which our guests are encouraged to use. This whole area is the ideal
place to relax and perhaps enjoy a 'Sundowner'! The Surrounding area offers, The Kruger National Park (45 minutes away), the Blyde River Canyon (the 3rd largest canyon in the world), the 'Three Rondavels', Bourkes Luck Potholes, Gods Window and also the towns of Pilgrims Rest, Graskop, Phalaborwa and Tzaneen. Guests can also avail themselves of many local activities and facilities. These include golf, horse riding, bird watching, fishing, hiking, white water rafting, micro-lighting, 'Big 5' game drives, guided bush walks, 'boma' dinners, 'hot air' ballooning, visits to the local shopping centre and curio shops, The Endangered Species Centre, The Cheetah Project, Moholoholo Animal & Bird Rehabilitation Centre, Khamai Reptile Park, and Bombyx Mori Silk Farm to name but a few! |
